Crankshaft pulley/damper. help

Just been told that the crankshaft pulley needs to be replaced urgently (engine off it moves about a quater turn freely) can any tell me where i can one at resonable money so far i've seen them between £300 and £600.

Cheers guys inadvance fot your help.

£300 is about as cheap as I've seen them, plus the dreaded vat.
