Hi all
After a long and an often head banging search I've finally sourced 99% of the parts to convert my '94 110 FFR to power steering, however I've heard that the 2 belt crank pulley that runs the alternator and the 90amp generator on a FFRnwill be no good as a means to run the pas pump.
Looking at TD and 200tdi engines there appears to be a difference in size to what lurks at the bottom of my engine.
I removed the drive belt on the generator ages ago as I'll never need a 24v supply in the back.
My question is: Is it possible to simply bolt on a replacement 2 belt pulley (of the correct size) that will run the power steering at the correct rpm without having to unbolt the entire crank pulley.

2 or the 3 bolt pulley should bolt on to the damper boss, the 3 is often the mostly widely available as it covers all options

Cheers mucker, looks like a final trip over to Mr Gott's next week and that'll be the Christmas break project materials sorted.

Yes just get the 3 belt pulley from a 200tdi then use the inner pulley for the alternator and the outer one for the PAS pump. The triple pulley crank superceded all the single and doubles.

I can take a photo later if you like?

Cheers "Flat", a picture would be appreciated.
It's a pity the existing FFR pulley doesn't do the job but there's Land Rover for you.

Hi there
After much delay, as usual caused by other issues and the promise to do things indoors (and out) to keep the peace, I've finally fitted the power steering parts to my 110.
All went well (mainly due to the investment of a breaker bar) until it came to the fitting of the pas belt.
The pump and bracket were sourced from a 19j engine figuring that the lower engine block would be the same as the 11j n/a lump lurking under the bonnet, a new 3 belt pulley was purchased and fitted, however the belt simply will not fit.
The belt is a brand new ETC5815 as stated in all the tech drawings.

....Bloody I-pads!!!
Has anyone else had this issue?
Have I got something wrong or are there other belts that might be longer?
Any helpful comments would be welcome.
Cheers.
