Just been down to my local LR dealer to pick up a couple of plactic riverts that hold the snow guard in place near the fuel filter housing that I broke when changing the filter.

Just had an amazing offer on a brand new Freelander GS. The salesman said he could do a deal on my 06 Freelander 1 with 60141k, in excellent condition. Taking in my car plus £8000, plus £199 for a 5 year service deal.

That sounds amazing to me what do you guy's think ??? Just a pity I can't afford it at the moment as we have just changed the wife's car :doh:

Must admit I thought where's the catch, but no that's what he said. Something about having to shift lot's of cars in March. He said they have sold over 100 vehicles this month already.

When does the new reg come in, perhaps it's something to do with that.

Getting rid of stock for the end of financial year maybe

Over £26 grand OTR for the cheapest GS makes yours worth £18K  you sure they dont want £18K and not £8K

What he said was he would give me £2000, above what Auto Trader are advertising freelanders for at the moment, I said I have seen 06 freelanders going for £8000, in Auto Trader. He said there you are then £10000, for your freelander plus £8000, and you have a brand new Freelander GS.

My car plus £8000 for brand new Freelander GS
