Firstly when you come to a stop ie set of lights etc the revs stay quite high or sometimes start to climb by itself if you blip the accelerator pedel they then drop rite down would i be rite in thinkin i need to remove the throtle body thing and clean it and lube the movin parts up????

secondly it has a water leak but cant seem to find it cant see any obvious signs of any leaks the head gasket is good (had sniff test etc done) its had the remote thermostat ive changed the oil (no water in it or oil in water) is there anywhere common they leak??

the engine is quite smooth pulls well starts no probs i should add that it is the 1800 petrol!!!! thanks

Throttle position sensor in the throttle body needs reset, can be done DIY, I've covered it on LZ before.
best to check the TB butterfly operation and throttle cable condition as well.

As for the leak, change the coolant cap £4-5, cheap as chips.
Heater matrix and IRD O-ring are other possibilities
