I want to remove the spare wheel holder on my bonnet which will leave a circle of holes on the bonnet. I want to countersink the holes and then fit countersunk aluminium rivets so they are not proud of the surface of the bonnet. Is this doable as I can’t seem to find CS rivets which are short enough. If the bonnet is c.4mm thick what length rivets am I after please? ……and will this work so I can completely hide the holes when I re spray the bonnet please? Thanks

I had a few stray screw holes in my bonnet. As my series is a bag of crap I epoxied washers under the holes with JB Weld, slightly off set to cover the hole. Just a case for body filler then.
