Hello peoples
2007 TDV8 L322
Some of you may recall I've been having battery drain after having had the car parked up for several months. Fitted a new battery as a matter of course and still fully drains within 2 days... Then I had lock out, usually I can get power to the car via the tow bar electrics and open but as all ready said, had lockout.. Got in to the car, started, reprogrammed the key, all works, champion! But I still have power drain. A friend popped by and plugged in his diagnostic machine, I won't list everything that flashed up for fear of wearing my keyboard out, but it seemed to be mainly modules having issues. At first I thought LCM but the more I think about it and the more I research I'm leaning more towards a faulty BCM.. And seen as you all seem to be some kind of Land Rover gods out there I thought I would ask for your miracles to be sent this way.... What are your thoughts? Happy to source another BCM and try but will it need programming to the car?
Many thanks in advance
Tony

Don't go jumping to conclusions that the BCM is at fault or you could end up on a very expensive swapping spree. From wht I have seen on LZ the BCM is less likely to be a problem than the LCM or the electronics in the nearside rear quarter.
Diagnostics are the only way forward after eliminating things like the alternator as the cause of battery drain.

Thanks Data, I took some photos of the diagnostic screen, I shall attempt to post them below

Disconnect ECU's one at a time, and see if the other faults disappear ? Lots of light faults . . . incompatible LED's fitted ?
Hhmmmm, I'll have to bribe my friend back again with mince pies or something........ She's an Overfinch, LED's were fitted from new I believe Pwood.
