I'm in the process of getting my bulkhead repaired and was very pleasantly surprised at the costs involved. Blasting has cost me all of £25 and I've been quoted around £90 to galvanise. I'll post what the actual cost was when it's done. The cost of welding in new footwells to a good standard and sorting out other corrosion has been very significant but at least once it was blasted I knew how bad the news really was!! I thought it worth sharing as I've spent hours cleaning things down when I could have got them blasted and been done with it!!

just hope i can find those sort of prices down this way , seen a new bulk head ( s 2a) at the BRISTOL AND WEST today and it was £1300+vat  , or a repaired and plasty coated (or what ever they call it) for £800 ish + vat ,

you can find galvanised second hand parts will result in them slightly warping / twisting

Just something to be aware of really!

That's an excellent price for shot blasting
