Hi - I have a T Reg Freelander, and have had a nasty spin which has left both sides a little banged up and scratched. I've brought some plastic wheel arch panels for the rear off-side, but I'm having a problem with the paint. Can anyone recommend a source for touch up paint? And where I would find the colour code for my car? I'm having a debate about whether its silver or beige...

Going to need quite a big touch up pen!

On a serious note - best result will be had by a pro, the blending, finish and colour match in is the main thing. It's not as expensive as you think and cheaper than insurance. I had a local guy do 4 panels on mine (2 doors, front and rear wings). £200 all in. Can't tell it's been done.
 
Best thing to do for the dents is to take your inner door panel off and insert a flat basketball into the door, then slowly inflate it. It should pop the dents right out. Done it myself and got the larger dents while leaving some of the smaller dents but it made a big difference.

Also, what age is the car? The halfords mixed stuff is crap, and won't match anyway as the paintwork on the car will have faded over the years. I had so much trouble matching up paint for my bonnet, i sprayed it black in the end.

I think its a respray mate.

£200-£300 will make it like new.

It certainly is! It spent the night half way up a verge that I'd gone sideways up... After managing to travel backwards at about 60 mph I wasn't in a fit state to drive, so the nice people with blue lights took me home...

The drivers door really needs to be replaced, and to be honest to make it look good, the whole thing could really use a respray, but that's taking it beyond the economic value of it!

I've managed to get some plastic bits which will fit the rear offside wheel arch, but where can I get the plastic fixings?
