Correct Haynes manual?

Hi all,

I have just bought a 2001 Freelander TD4 and am looking to get a workshop manual so I can do the basic stuff myself.

Is this the right manual for the TD4, as it does not mention it specifically?

Land Rover Freelander Petrol and Diesel (97 - 02) R-52 reg.

Softback, Hardback and Station Wagon, inc. special/limited editions, (97 - 02), R-52 reg.
Petrol: 1.8 litre (1796cc) 4-cyl

I have a TD4 on a 02 plate and that is the manual i have - it has a Reddish front cover. You have the right one!!

Thanks for the info, I was fairly sure that it was the right one, but the guy in the shop said it does not cover the TD4!

I checked the rover diesel and it had the same CC as the TD4.

If i am correct they started the TD4 on an X or Y plate so from the info you have provided it is correct - if you look thru it, it should mention TD4

Yeah, its got K series, L series and TD4 in it..

Hi, yes this is the correct manual, (Haynes no.3929), if u havent bought one yet, I sold my freelander td4 and have had the manual in the for sale section for months now so ;let me know if u need it, its in excellent condition and going cheap. Best Rgds.
