Two versions of Haynes 3929 Manual???? :-(

I Need some help please.

I have on 03 3dr Hardback TD4 105k, I recently bought the Haynes 3929 manual and the cover quaotes:

'1997 to 2002 (R registration onwards) petrol and diesel'

I was told this is the right version by the guy in the store, however I have since seen another version of the 3929 quoting:

'1997 to sept 2003 (R to 53 reg) petrol and diesel'

does anyone know if there any differences in these two manuals. The one I have seems to have limited info regarding the TD4 and focuses on the older engines, am I right in assuming the other version will have more deatiled info on the TD4?

This one is an update to the earlier one that I have - both called 3929, but the later goes upto 2003, previously upto 2002:

Yeah, thats the one, he tried to sell me the blue one at first, and was telling him that mine was a 2003 and that the red one only went upto 2002, but he assured me it was the right one.

No

None of the Freelander haynes manuals cover the v6, but the rave does. This evening whilst in halfords I had a look through the haynes manual list. Several rover books including the rover 75 cover the k series 2.5L v6 engine. Way thinking about asking over on the mg rover forum how much 2.5L stuff is in there. Thats if no one on here knows? Could be of some help perhaps? The rave disk covers the Freelander v6.
