I can't remember how many litres it is exactly. Just add 3 litres of anti-freeze, it doesn't matter what type and then top up with fresh water. Basically the more anti-freeze you have the better because it consists of rust inhabitants. It wont over heat etc.

Before you start topping the system up with fresh anti-freeze, thoroughly flush the old system out first. The best way to do this is the following:

1) Remove the bottom hose from your radiator but leave the other end attached to your engine
2) Stick a hose pipe into the pipe and clamp it water tight with a jubilee clip.
3) Turn the tap on full
4) Run the engine for 20 minutes whilst watching the temperature gauge

What this should do is wash out any crap that's built up inside the system. You are effectively pumping fresh water through the engine, through the heater matrix and through the radiator. Reverse the flow with the engine OFF to wash any crap back through the engine.

Repeat the process a couple of times (10 minutes per time) and then finnish with one final wash through the system with the engine running
