Coolant leak

Came on yesterday with a thread about the coolant level playing up.

Been out under the bonnet all day and there is a lot of coolant leaking....but dont know where from :doh:..

Topped the bottle up, took the bottle from its housing and held it in my hand....with the engine running, after about 3 minutes coolant started peeing out from behind the back of the front drivers side wheel ????

When looking at the bottle and the few hoses that come from it, there is'nt any coolant leaking from anywhere that i can see...but still peeing out from back of front wheel???

Checked all the hoses that trunk off from the main fat hose that comes from the coolant bottle...nothing leaking from any of them??

Where the hell is it leaking from??

only place i can think of is heater pipe two of them run to bulkhead have a look there

Thanks J The Range.........Took agood look there today and could see no obvious leaks....whats baffling me is why the coolant is dripping from where its dripping from which is the wheel arch cover basically directly under the bottle ???

its not from over flow pipe is it

the overflow pipe chucks its water down there, ive had lots of experience with this!!! i'm sure a couple of fellas will vouch for that ( and probably my lunacy at following through with this car!!!)

check the little black pipes, one goes to rad the other to, erll wherever lets water down the wheel arch.

now take the cap off, carefully prise the o rings off (x2) and swap them over. if this stops the leak go out in another car, armed with the cap and buy 2 new o rings!!

anout 10 p each!!

ive got the same problem too any idead yet ? is it the matrix???
