Thought I'd put this on here in case it's useful to someone.... my 04 TD5.
Noticed coolant was steadily going down over some time - checked all the pipes and no obvious signs of a leak. So, bought a new tank cap in case it was coming out from there, but the loss continued. So, ordered a new tank. When I removed the old one, it was stained pink all around the seal in the middle. Fitted new tank and hey presto a few weeks down the line still no losses. Result!
