The jobs was sorted yesterday by a mechanic who happens to have 30 odd years mechanic experience and has owned several Landys including his current 90 so I can (with confidence) say he would of noticed an issued with the belts...

Its quite clear from the photo that the belts are on the right pullies just the water pump was knackered

Totally off mark fella, I for one am not lazy and you are really off the mark stating the belts are wrong size...…..
but i wanst to for from the mark about a water pump destruction and who ever fitted the belt should of noticed this from the beginning as it normal practice to spin pulleys and listen for any abnormal noises as well as play before fitting a new belt

Well and cruelly miles off the mark with your negative smart ar*e comment fella you said the belts were wrong..... sorry you were wrong pal

some times common sense goes along way the post was very vague along with your reply's
while you where worrying about a water leak it had been stated this was least of your problems by many members..... if you couldn't see the belt was out of alignment when you took the pic there is something wrong

as it took a 30 year experienced mechanic to tell you the water pump was stuffed to be honest i thought it was a wind up as i did state in a earlier post
you bite very well and you responded the way i thought you would like i say your info was vague

could it be possible the belt installed was over tensioned ? as that looks like a new belt just recently installed correct and to be honest why didnt the belt throw off at that angle

any ways glad you got it sorted
