Fingers crossed, wasn't sure if it's a common area for HG fail.

I don't think there's a problem with the HG on the DW12. Peugeot used to have HG issues years ago, but that was on their petrol engines. This Peugeot diesel seems pretty good in that department. Mine had a nut in the combustion chamber:eek: (not my doing), and still the HG sealed tight, unfortunately the piston and head didn't fair to well, the former needed replacing, :oops: but the latter was repaired by me.

I'd say thermostat. Did mine last year as it had failed, but there looked to be evidence of a very slight leak.
Fairly common for little leaks where a plastic part meets metal. Different rates of expansion and contraction...
Anyhoo,fairly easy DIY, if a little messy. Especially as I couldn't get the drain plug out of the rad
Get a Gates or Febi 'stat.
