coolant capacity Td5

Hi all,i'm just wondering what the coolant capacity of the Td5 is please as i am going to change today.

11ltrs in total from memory but you'll only get out about 7, unless you really go to town on emptying out the only stuff from the heater matrix etc.

If you buy ready mixed stuff make sure it is OAT pink fluid. Do not mix types of coolant, TD5's should have the OAT stuff.

This seems to be true, l changed my coolant yesterday and after removing the bottom radiator hose (removing the grille there's a small hose at the bottom left) and also the thermostat hose plus the bleed screw etc it only took 6.5 litres to refill it.
The coolant l drained looked OK (not discoloured and still tested good) so l suppose 3.25 litres of new antifreeze at 50% will keep it protected for a while.
