Converting a Defender Station Wagon / country to live-in Spec

Anybody gone and ripped the seats and plated out the windows on their wagons?

I see hardly any LRs that are 110 and 2 door with all the space in the back for sleeping.

I might end up just buying a station wagon / country as they seem to be everywhere.

Thoughts appreciated.

me mate has semi-campered his. He got a 2 door 110 with windows, has fitted a wee sink and stove, and curtains to the windows and a fold up bed. That way hes still got the massive space to carrystuff in.

have a look on my website the link i bought a 110 2 door hard top and have converted the back to sleep in.

hi

when i bought it it was a pick up and it took about 18 months to get it all sorted and it is a very comfy camper i do have to say.

single cab 110s are easy to come by. keep checking ex utility sources for them. We have a fleet of around 15 of these from 52 plates upto recent puma's. Masses of space in the back.
