Close to buying a Freelander 2.2 Td4 SE, 2008 plate with 63k on the clock. Appreciate that members post problems and issues and not many good news stories. Not looking to pour money down the drain and hoping to get a motor that is a bit reliable.

Looking for a bit of advice, is this a big risk and should I be looking for something else? What do I need to look for when inspecting this vehicle?

Regards, Bren

No personal experience to relay from me, aside from a mate of mine has one and he loves it. He has had it from new and its probably 18 mths old now. From a general point of view, make sure it has a decent warranty if its from a dealer!

This may be useful to you.
