Confusing Fuel Tank

I am trying to find a replacemnt tank for my S3 109 inch 1973 landy, but no one seems to recognise my fule tank, the only tank is under the drivers seat and holds 65-80 litres so doesnt seem to be an aucillaiary tank as has been suggested, the chassis no is 943011089. Has anyone any ideas??

If it's under yer seat it'll be the same as an 88" one in all probability.

No. Just looked at yer pics and it ain't the same as my 88" one but I'd bet a pound to a bucket of ****e you could make an 88" one fit easy enough.

I disagree there, look at the reenforicing ribs, they pass where it looks like the extra bit is so it was a strange shape to start.

its not a special long range one by any chance?

I remember these tanks as being fitted to Landys in Australia. I've been trying to find one in the UK as well but with no success.
