Hi all,
Fitting a second hand brand new tank on my 79' 109 diesel, tank has the 4 pipes & clip in sender.
This is probably going to sound really, really dense, but don't know which pipes connect to where (original tank wasn't connected).
Can someone add a photo with idiot proof labels showing all 4 pipes please, got a haynes manual & resto' book but doesn't include what i'd consider important info for newbies.

asked this in someone else's post but had no replies, so thought i'd post it.

Try copying photo and pasting, does yours look like this

http://www.retroanaconda.com/landrover/2010/03/series-iii-workshop-manual/

section 19-2 shows the general principal of the fuel system and 19-3 the 109 tank with the breather pipe, balance pipes, feed and return all numbered

Thanks, that's brilliant, a really useful resource for newbies like me , this will save a lot of trial & error/ head scratching/ swearing.
my 109's getting close to being road ready, this will definitely help.

Interestingly thats not how my original tank was connected, I think the important thing to look for is where the pick up tube is. Mine is a Petrol though.
