Complete overhaul EAS System ?

Morning All,

I have decided to give the eas system a complete overhaul as preventative maintenance. I would like to know what others would advise in addition to the list below please.

EAS Jobs done so far: x 4 gen II Air springs fitted x 2 front Height sensors fitted (rear sensors were replaced shortly before purchase of car) May 12


Awaiting delivery : New Valve Block and Compressor, (LandyZone member)

Awaiting delivery : Air Dryer

Anything Else I need ????

Hi, looking to do the same, what kind of cost have you spent so far.... Seems daunting that it could very expensive ......

If you wanna do the lot, you could go the whole hog and replace the airlines too....

It has been known for the rear lines to be compromised by exhaust gases...

Compressor and driver pack.

Frankly I think you are chucking money away, the valve block is dead simple to overhaul as is the compressor for little cost. Dryer, sensors, driver pack and pressure switch are the only bits I would consider renewing in addition to the air bags.

Thanks Saint, yes I had not thought of that and agree and that will be work in progress. Where would be the best to obtain the airlines online if possible ?

I'd be interested in a ballpark figure to do this too, as I think my system is rather past its best.

Thank you Datatek,

My decision to replace the valve block / compressor was made as I am in the process of buying another P38 (diesel this time) to use off road the current owner converted to coil springs and sold all the eas parts to finance the conversion.
I want to get the car back on air so my thoughts were to use the parts I am replacing and as you suggested overhaul my original valve block and compressor and use for the off road car, which brings me to another question I am sure you can answer once I post pics of the problem I have found today.
Valve block is in bits as Is compressor

Hi, will keep you posted

The air reservoir needs checking for moisture and the seal replacing on refitting once in a while. Might be worth checking that.

Valve-block about £375 new unless someone on here has one. Compressor about £180 new (unless similar), dryer £25 new. Don't know about the driver pack, EAS computer & relay, pipes or seals.
