Colour decision time, cant decide

It was yellow, then light red with blue doors and then painted with enamel paint and using a brush, jus gonna give it a quick spray for the sake of £50. it'll soon be scratched and dented again but at least all one (similar) colour.
 
Pos, I like your yellow, only problem is round here there's a lot of clay mining and they all drive round in yellow defenders and are an unfriendly bunch of bastids who never wave back so it wouldn't stand out in Cornwall!

Go for Savannah Blue - very shiney!
 
Get yourself a tin of NATO matt green and a spunge roller!

£20 and half a day later, Job done!!

I dont see the point in getting a nice shiney/expensive spray job done on a landy. Cus if you use it as landrover intended it to be used, its gunna get scratch to fook anyhow! When it does... get the roller out again!

I agree with what ya saying but i enjoy paint / body work and for the extra £30 it would cost i might as well spray it. I wouldn't pay for some spray shop to paint it cuz yeah it will get ruined within a few outings. £50 isn't even enough for a good day at the pub any more, not with the prices round here. :D

Fair point! I suppose if I could spray for **** I would probly have done so. But still was supprised haw good a job the roller does when using military matt paint!
 
I think Matt colours look great, the only reason i'm stuck on colour choice is cuz the def has to be the easiest vehicle to do a colour change without having a green body and red engine bay etc. 2 of me mates have just re-sprayed their hi-lux's they've gone for different shades of the original colour but not touched inner door frames and under bonnet etc, fair enough if it's an off roader etc but looks a bit tooss if you painting to increase value for re-sale.

I did a second paintjob as first time round I rushed it and didnt remove enough of the flaky ****e.

you have to colour code the roof OR paint it black, its not right in white :rolleyes:

id go with matt black... ive always wanted an old septic muscle car in matt black and a big 'ol V8 to roar around in, a Plymouth fury or something similar :D

Thanks for the pics, they both look really good. I can see that there is many different opinions depending where ya come from etc. I've been messin about on photoshop trying different colours so i recon i'll have decided on a colour soon :confused: :D
