Colour coordinating arches/spats

I'm hoping to get the defender painted early next year, unfortunately I have those black rubber/PVC arches, but would prefer to have them colour coded. What have you done to your's, merely prepped your original black ones or replaced them for the paintable spats?

If anyone has a set of paintable spats for sale please PM me! ;)
 
get paintable ones, mine have been painted in the past and the paint has come off, it doesn't look like it stuck properly in the first place, luckly mines black so it doesn't look too bad

I gave mine a light blast , you must use paint for use with plastic or it will eventually peel :)
 
just painted mine not cracked or failed yet
