Colour coding bumpers n grill? what'd you think

I recently saw an add on ebay , a purple [nightfire red] disco about 96 300tdi with all bumpers colour coded it looked smart. Now i've bought a compressor with all spray attachments, not with the painting of the car in mind but i thought i may give it a go, anyone else done it ? i will start with the grill, mines caprice green.

i am thinking on painting the black metal bits or my bumpers green to match the bodywork but not the end caps or numberplate holder these will stay black
