Clutch staple

assembling my new clutch arm and bearing. The kit came with a plastic (really crappy) 'staple'. The plastic clip that connects the beating to the clutch fork.

Well, the bearing moves freely, but the staple just pops out as it's so flimsy. So do I need it? LTR on YouTube notes it's to hold them together during installation, so if it's all in place just now, can I neglect the clip?

Also, coppaslip on the shaft that the bearing runs on?
 
thats as they are its not needed once assembled
your choice coppaslip will eventually turn into a dirty gunge, a dry guide will remain cleaner
