Well it seems it be one step forward two steps back with my 90 and I've only had it a month.

Just when I thought I was getting somewhere after fixing the grinding noise (new rear prop) and sorting the hit and miss starting (ignition switch).. now the clutch is slipping.

I've noticed some fluid on the pedal which has obviously come from the master cylinder and when I've checked it was low so I've topped it up.

Unfortunatley it's still slipping.

Do I just need to bleed the clutch or am I looking at something of a bigger issue?

Cheers

Guess you need to fix the leak first bleed the system and see whats what.

I spent up buying a new ignition barrel and rear prop,so was just wondering if it's likely to just need a bleed so I can at least get to next pay day :)

A leaking clutch system will only make a clutch slip if the fluid has got onto the clutch plate (unlikely). Normally a leaking system will cause the clutch to drag and make it harder to select a gear or will cause the vehicle to creep forward when in gear with the clutch is depressed. The opposite of what you have

Adjusted the clutch peddle yesterday, it was about 1cm out (15cm instead of 14cm) but it's still slipping. Just gone through the paper work and it had the clutch arm & pawl, push rod, thrust bearing but not the pressure plate or the clutch even though the company who did the worked advised that they be replaced!!

Although looking through more paper work it looks like it was replaced the beginning of 2010.

oh the joy... only had it about two months and it's:

had to have the rear prop replaced
had it's down pipe replaced
needed a new ignition switch
got a small leak at the top of the rad
in need of a new clutch master cylinder
maybe needing a new clutch kit

gonna be busy :)
