Is it necessary to use the fixed pipe ( which I've knackered ) from my slave cylinder to the flexi or can I just fix the flexi direct to the slave cylinder?

Thanks, wasn't sure what the best thing to do was, I just couldn't see the point of the metal pipe, replacement flexi does seem that little bit longer so I'll couple it direct I think, thanks again for the advice.

Just a thought !! After you've fitted your new pipe and bled up the system etc try jacking up the body leaving the wheels on the ground !! Check that the pipes don't go too tight !!! Hump Back bridge pipe pulls to pieces can't hold the weight of your axle and wheels etc !!! The result is no brakes crash etc!!!! That's why they have the copper pipe fixed to the axle and calliper then flexi to the chassis !! Needs to be long enough to allow axle deflection !!!!!
