Disco TD5 now back with a new clutch. The biting point is quite low and there is a fair bit of play at the top of the pedal.

Is there any way of taking the play out of the pedal? I assume once it has bedded in the biting point will come up a bit?

What does the big disc/knob thing on the master cylinder do, does that affect the clutch operation?

I am currently thinking of building the pedal up by 1/2" or so, my wife and I are quite short and its quite hard work pushing the pedal so far down!!!!

its a damper on disco 1 it was bolted next to the slave cylinder ,might need a bit more bleeding .dampers can be hard to get all air out
