Hello im new to this forum , i have a k series petrol 1.8 been ok untill a few days ago , stated out fine then the car started shaking back seats started to rattle then revs went up and no power, im skint so im confused about what to do as im told to get it checked out but dont know if its the clutch wheel bearing or the vcu thing ann anyone help

Sounds like a slipping clutch, first guess.

More info needed. When does it shake? Does it free wheel? Do the engine revs climb without the road speed increasing? What miles is on it? What age is it?
