Thanks guys,
Crankshaft rear seal is on order and added to the ever growing list of jobs, sometimes I think I am just looking for ways not to have to lift that box back up, I would rather raise the Titanic.

Thanks again

Evening
Removed the flywheel today, Those bolts are fun:rolleyes: Cleaned the rear of the bell housing and removed the old seal and gasket, What product should i use to seal those nuts again?

Mick

Hi all
Rear crank shaft seal has been replaced, clutch plate, pressure plate, bearing, Reinforced fork replaced, all clips in place.
I have put the bellhousing back on and reconected everything.

Still no gears.... So I bleed the slave cylinder but still no luck.

I had pressure to the clutch pedal but it felt much softer than normal even after i bled it.

I have now ordered a new slave in case its this, Any other ideas of what could be wrong??

Cheers

Mick

they are a bitch to bleed the pipework bends all over the place-I used an eezibleed to pressure rise the whole lot

Changed the Slave cylinder and its now all good. What a job!! I will definitely hire a hoist next time.
Just wanted to ask one last question, The two hook shaped breather pipes from the gear box, Can anyone send me a pic or a good description of where they connect to the engine as I cant remember.

I would also like to thank the forum and all those who advised on this thread.

Cheers

Mick
