Hi, I'm after the experience of the many please. ... My 1993 200tdi 90's just developed a clicking noise when I release the clutch pedal the other night, clutch still feels the same, pedal still the same stiffness etc. Quick Look last night & the noise is coming from where the slave cylinder is. It's a single 'click' when the pedals near the top... I replaced the master and slave cylinders last year.
The noise is still there when the engines not running, if you release the pedal slowly - no click, sounds like something is slipping off something. Could the push rod be out of alignment slightly?
Any advice would be appreciated.
