During heavy rain and flooding about 1/2 ft deep my cluster stopped working when I drove through. Every now and then they work again but showing the SRS and engine warning. Its a 2006 face-lift freelander. Help much appreciated as my itv is due in 2 weeks.

Water ingress effecting contacts. Worth disconnecting the battery and check the main fuses under the bonnet for any residue first. Then check for damp near the fuses in the drivers side by removing relays. Did you get much water in the Freelander itself as this could cause humidity to rise in warmer climates.

Hi had no water in the car itself. But problem solved, I live in fuerteventura and there is plenty of dust I mean loads of the stuff. Took the dash off and cleaned everything. Put it back together and hey presto all OK.
