alright all? brand new to this site and landrovers come to think of it!!
i have a disco 300tdi 1996 (n) auto. when i first start it from cold and select D i dont hear or feel any clunk, however when its warmed up ive got a clunk when selecting D or R, allso while driving along if i take my foot off the accelerator and put it back down it allso clunks!
i thought it might be the rubber donut attatched to the propshaft?
is there any way i can check it without removing it? cheers.

Engine etc all turned off, handbrake off with all wheels chocked so the disco can't move, get underneath and rotate the rear prop, or have someone else rotate it, while looking at the 'flats' between bolts of the doughnut .. there shouldn't be any cracks or holes appearing in it on either side. Look at sides top and bottom as it flexes as it rotates, so cracks can appear anywhere it's stressed .. bit like me ;)

cheers paul, might sound a bit obvious but do i need to put the car in neutral when i do it so the prop can turn ? thanks.
