Hi, I have a 2014 td4 se, I hear and feel a repeated clunk from left front wheel when pulling away. It's not there all the time. My stability control shows switched off. Sometimes it's briefly on and all errors disappear.

I'm going to take wheel off and have a look but does anyone know what this might be.

Could be outer cv joint, think there's a gapped ring on it where the wheel speed sensor picks up. Is it a deep clunk or more of a click?

Had it diagnosed and found out that the problem was broken wires at the plug in the short harness from rear diff control module to module above axle. Replacement fitted, now all good.

I have that problem can you do me a favour and write the exact text here so I can see what to look for please?
SUPPLY AND FIT SHORT HARNESS FROM REAR DIFF CONTROL MODULE TO MODULE ABOVE AXLE Check and report on no comms to rear diff control module, confirmed, traced wiring to rear differential control module, confirmed found broken wire at plug, unable to repair, requires short harness from rear differential control module to above axle

The plugs to both the rear diff and Haldex need to be checked regular, they are prone to damage being in the area they are, may re-force the wiring by using some tape.

Great, where does the other end plug into is it in the boot somewhere? I want to put a volt meter on either end to check for continuity. Thanks
