ok , here goes. This is on my freelander 1.8 1999 (mauve). It's gone for 3 months without any problems. BUT now I have a clinky gear type noise coming from the front of the car noticible when reversing and turning (not at full lock, that's a different noise) and also when turning slowly in first. i.e. noticible when doing 3 point turns of which I do plenty. It isn't audible all the time. What expensive part might this be to add to my ever increasing list of woe?
