Clicky noise - CV'S??

Dreaded clicky noise when turning - especially full lock. (DSE BTW) Also when i go over humps in the road, so the suspension extends for a second, i get a kind of groaning noise from the same neck of the woods. Can i safely assume my CV's have had it? could it be something else?
They're only £40ish a side to buy but i suspect a bastard to fit. Is it worth it?

Sounds like cv joints to me not the hardest of jobs depending how good you are at cars only you know that if your not sure leave it to an expert just don't use Landrover as your be charged the earth

I have a decent socket set and semi-decent brain. just didnt want to launch in only to discover it the diff or something completely different.

Well for starters the biggest socket should be around 32 mm maybe bigger for the hub nut if you just got a small kit forget it
