Just took my steering wheel off to centre it,

There was a plastic ring behind it, that the wires come through,

I disturbed this, (turned it)
I put the wheel back on, now it clicks when i turn the wheel,

Have i fooked it ? or can you reset it somehow ?

Did coupler turn when you had wheel off, does horn still work and is srs light on or off? If horn and srs ok should manage to rectify.

It seems u messed with the rotary coupler.....u better put it back as it was(if u can remember) coz this one might f**k up other systems too...e.g horns, airbag, etc

That will be the pins not properly engaged into the base of the wheel when you refitted it.

Below is a copy from the workshop manual:

CAUTION: Before removing any parts of
steering linkage, it is imperative that road
wheels are positioned straight ahead.
Then remove steering wheel to prevent rotary
coupler being wound up or damaged.
CAUTION: After refitting steering linkage
parts follow correct procedure to ensure
that road wheels, steering box and
steering wheel are correctly positioned relative to
each other when in straight ahead condition. If
steering wheel requires repositioning, ensure that
drive pegs on rotary coupler are correctly
positioned before steering wheel is replaced.
This ensures drive pegs locate in their holes in
rear of steering wheel.

I think its located properly in the back of the wheel,
I did turn the coupler tho, without pushing the little tab in :(
Cant remember how it was, :(
Wonder if ive fluffed it ?
