CLICKIN noise from door hinge..

any1 any ideas wat could be causin the hinge arm thingy in the middle of the door hinges on my 90 300tdi to click and sorta pop from the flimsy it of plastic casing wen I open me doors?is it a loose bolt or somethin serious??

The flimsy plastic thing is just a cover. Underneath is a steel channel that a roller runs in on the end of the door check strap.
Sounds like it just needs some lubrication - give it a squirt of WD40 up from underneath, then work it in and out a few times. That should sort it.
