I have a 3.5 EFI Classic 1989 I am slowly bringing up to scratch.

The engine now runs smoothly ( fingers crossed ) and the car drives very well.

Would it be worth converting to LPG ?

how much would you value your rr at?LPG cost from bout £1200 upwards.Do you use it every day or highdays and holidays?Do you have another "daily" car?

Aye, I bought mine already done. If your gonna do more than 8000 miles a year and keep it for 3 years, then yes it's worth it. It does need servicing regularly though, and a lot of independant specialists won't touch LPG converted motors. Previous owner of mine had it done by RPi Engineering (and they did the full engine rebuild), but it needs servicing as economy has dropped way off what it should be. Got all the paperwork and destructions how to do it, just ain't got a CO meter for the exhaust :(

I had my 1989 3.5 EFi converted, well worth it. I do use mine everyday though so that made it even more worth it, like goonarmy said. Definitely more worth it if it's running well.

If you're keeping the car and you're looking after it, may as well do it to save while you drive. Conversion will pay for itself pretty quick if it's your daily drive.

Plus I do come across environMENTALISTS who think I've done it so save the planet... course I did. :D

Thank's guys.
I would like to use it daily and to tow my caravan to rallies and our main holiday, So the more economical she is the better.
Many thank's for your thoughts.
Fred
