Hi,im having a few probs with my range rover, its a 3500 v8 efi,1985,its been stood a while but today i started to recomission it.
its was running rough and lumpy so i changed the plugs and leads,no difference.a few hours later i have narrowed the fault down to the injectors.
the car runs only on 4 cyls,it will run just the same with all the plug leads off on the right bank(good spark at all 8).
using a noid light i have checked the injector pulse, which is fine on the left bank, dead on the right.
Is This a common problem?,i am thinking ecu,i have removed drivers seat and everything is dry,the wiring looks undamaged etc, please help, thanks, chris.

Have a look on the back of the LHF shock turret - there is a box the size of a fag packet, its the power resistors for the injectors.Pull the plug off the bottom and look inside, they often corrode with green mush.If it is you just need to clean up the plug and socket to get a good connection.
Very common - or was,esp on cars that sit around for long periods in or damp climate.
