mite pop along on the sunday morning after work , come and see the boys in action , don't think my disco ready , wats the price 4 the day .
 
I might be up for it now. Can't be bothered going darn sarf if people are going to be petty about who's organising it etc. etc. etc. Count me in, as long as theres nothing too bad. Only got road tyres on me P38.
 
I think I'm fairly certain now.

As long as the Honda passes my mechanic's once over, then I have the Disco for Laning !!

BTW, she called the Disco Sally, and so has said that I can go away for 'a dirty weekend with Sally' ;-)
 
The Honda has been passed fit by my mechanic (my wife won't take my word for it) so I have the Disco.

I'm definitely in - yippee!!!


I hope you guys have got winches, ropes etc to pull my Disco out of the mud if it keeps raining like it is now !!!!!

I have a big towing bracket on the back, but otherwise it's as it rolled of the production line ;-)

I'll be the same. Got a tow-jaw on the back, but thats it. :)

I'm in, by the way. We meeting up somewhere and what time?
 
I don't fancy driving along hearing the old "finger nails on chalk board" as I bounce along. The odd wee scratch here and there I can sort with a bit of T-Cut, so don't really mind that.
Might have to skip the worse ones.
Which day are you doing the Mynd...Sat or Sun?

BTW I now have a boot full of CB Radios. Will anyone else be active on the weekend?
Actually, if they work, they're all portable so may be able to lend them out for the duration. (We haven't used CBs for DofE for years so they've been in a cupboard untouched for a long time, but they all worked when last tried.)

I need to check which works, but they're all portable. 2 small handheld, 2 big brick handheld, and 1 portable that goes over your shoulder with a strap.

If there are any 'spare' after testing what works I'll let people know.

yep the meeting poing has not changed still the mountain road out of church streton, and i will have my CB on channel 9 the whole time
