Whoo, just looked at the area on Memory Map .. that's a bit uppy-downy, side to sidey boy ... looks a great area, so put me down as tentatively interested, depends on the Doris and the pocket .. 
It's about 3 ish hours away from us, so not too bad for a weekend, wouldn't want to do it in just one day though ..

Hate to say it but the Mynd is pretty boring .
even my freelander copes with it !
However the sunken lane known localy as the Cwms from stretton to cardington behind the Caradoc is a bit of fun.

Thought I'd better add ... for the distance I'd be traveling I'd prefer a weekend camping, and best/easiest weekends for me are ...

Must also admit I know absolutely nothing of the area, other than what I can see on maps and google earth, but what I've seen definitely looks interesting! Looking forward to it.

ok mate i shall let you know when a date is set is all a bit mad at the moment got to much work to do and with the baby coming things are hard to plan, hopefully life will be calmer by august time
