Cheap Oil

I bought 2 bottles so I can give the Rangie an oil change and another 5ltrs of the diesel version for the series.
While I was spending money I have ordered replacement springs and shocks for the series iii and a brake overall kit from Paddocks.
Yesterday while checking, the current springs are really rusty and I would have to spend hours stripping them then cleaing them up, the rear ones have coil spring helpers so they could well be soft anyway.
The shocks seem ok but the top cover part has rust holes in all four, so while they appear ok they look like they have been on the car since it was new. I suspect an MOT inspector would not be happy with their condition so for the cost of new ones it is not worth mucking about.
Oh I did this all while the wife was out so she does not know I have just spend £232, well I could be dead tomorrow, ah wait when she finds out I will be dead.

I saw some at Costco, 20litres of Chevron oil £19 ish.

Can't beat Tractor Universal £0.80 a litre.

No such thing as half price - it's like "buy one get one free" - just means it's twice the normal price the rest of the time!

Big chains ain't gonna sell as a loss (not even close!) so just means if you bought it at "full" price you were doubly ripped!

Mr Bump likes the Comma 20/50 from Trago £3.99 for 4.5l's:D
I tend to grab a few every time we head past there so always have some lying around for those emergency top up's

Trago pipe gas into the atmosphere there that makes you forget what you went in fer and just buy a load of old cack coz it's cheap. You get a rare insight into the female affliction of not how much it costs, or what you've bought, but how much you saved!

Very true:D but if you are as skint as i am........ you go there knowing exactly what you looking for and how much cheaper it is... eg the comma oil retails locally for 5.99 so am saving a huge £2:D

The rest of the place sucks...although i hear the off road course is worth a go if happen to be there on a sunday (madness)

There's a trago at Dogballs too, used to live at Nabbot when i was at farmer school but never came across the 4x4 course - is it near the paintball thingy?
