I still dunno if it is the done thing to mention specific enterprises on the forum but I dunno how I can pass on what I think is good info without doing so. If I commit a sin...be gentle with me.

Anyhoo...decided to get some new hoops for the 90 as the Insa Special Track's that were on were a nightmare on wet tarmac!

Bit of ringing around and I found 4x BFG AT's 265/75/16 for £404 fitted!! OK, I had to drive in to get some extra discount rather than take the mobile fitter option but it was a £24 discount!!

So Event Tyres...and what a very good job they did, especially as all the tin covers on mi nuts had swollen. Tried lubrication but ended up with them cut off!!

Anyways...at that price plus some damn fine customer service...I'm a happy bunny!! :D

I've only just lost my LR virginity so I haven't been to the Billing show. But let's assume I'll be going this year and avoid the cries of "Heretic" and the flaying and the burning. :D

Still, I'm Northern(ish) and close to Yorkshire, so I like a bargain...and I couldn't find anywhere cheaper. Like I say...the service was good too. :)

i went to billing once but we were staying on the aquadrome or whatever its called any way.Dont think we payed for the show but it wasnt worth paying a tenner for imho

When I lived near Kettering I used to take the bairn to Billing Aquadrome to feed the ducks and cycle round the lakes. I used to park up outside and use one of the many Public footpaths to gain entry, If you wanted to do that during the LR show they wouldn't be able to stop you.
