I'm trying to find the chassis number on a 110 that I have. The land rover came free with another one that I bought but it didn't have a log book. It doesn't have an engine but is has a very good chassis and bulkhead and I am now in possession of my stepsons 90 that he has just written off that has a good 200 tdi engine etc which I plan to transplant so now need a logbook. I have done a vehicle check on line and an odd thing that that threw up was that according to the dvla the last change of keeper was in august last year. I bought the land rovers in may last year !! I'm starting to wonder if my vehicle id has been moved to another ! The registration I have is not on the insurance database so obviously isn't on the road at the moment. Any body got any bright ideas what I should do next ?
