Chassis and Engine number?

Just trying to fill in an application for a Carnet de Passage and I can't find where the chassis number and engine numbers are stamped on the chassis and engine.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Yeah, it is the '96 300tdi commercial. They are on the V5 i just wanted to double check them on the vehicle. I don't fancy some Iranian border guard doing a vehicle inspection and finding they are different!
