Hi guys currently pulling my hair out lol,,summary,,,battery warning light comes on while driving,,car comes to stop,,battery drained ,not charging,. So got it home charged and tested with meter at the battery,,reads 12.6v but when running no 14v just slowly drops. Got new regulator and fitted,,worked ok for a test ie putting 14.5 v when tested at the battery.
The next day back to square one no input at the battery,,,,,got and fitted another regulator still no good,,,heres the kicker if tested from the earth of the battery to the output stud on the back of the alternator it reads 18v,,when tested at the pos of the battery nothing,,,,so where is the current going?
