Series 3 changed the front

I changed the front; other lights, bumper and colour. Now its time to take out the front window and weld the airvents

I just sanded them and rolled some paint on them. Army green was the original colour

Looks amazing that, I can't wait to get stuck into my old 1974 S3 ex RAF project... I'm loving the paint job you've done too I was thinking of roller painting mine but thought it would come up rubbish now I've seen this I'm defiantly getting that roller out!

Well, its an ex-dutch army radiotruck so originally it was already armygreen (ral 6014). I bought some cans with this paint at an army-dumpstore and used that. Maybe you can try to find the original paint as well for your ex-RAF?
Besides, when I was in the army we also roller-painted the vehicles

Yeah luckily there's the paint man who attends all the LR shows and he's around 12 miles away from me so I'll be using him for the RAF grey/blue!
