change the 2,5 to a 3,0 diesel

hey

dos any of you know if i can change mi 2,5 diesel in my p38 to a 3,0 ??

Easier to up the power of what you've got methinks.

If you want the full monty, re-map, bigger intercooler, up turbo boost etc. A reasonable power boost can be got just by fitting a PSI Power box leaving the engine within it's limits and not shortening it's life unduly

Mate of mine has fitted one to a P38 2.5 gearbox, same bolt pattern, you should be able to use TD6 mounts, just the wiring/ECU thats going to be a bit more difficult. But it can be done. Just depends how much you want to spend I should think..

what is the aprox price on that in the uk ?

Many have talked about it but I don't ever recall someone coming on here and saying thaey had it running
