As per Hippos instructions
I keep a spare IRD filler plug and copper washer, just in case I need to get brutal with a stuck one.
Ere's a filler plug I broke'd previously.

Do we have a link for a spare filler plug and maybe a drain plug, wow that as took some serious hammer, I am assuming that the bolt had rounded off, did you try a twist nut remover as one of these below before using the hammer effect, Irwin are good I have these in my tool set up.
